The main problem of my skin, besides the large pores, are blackheads. They are so annoying and sometimes it is so hard to get rid of them. I know many girls who are also struggling with blackheads and for different reasons blackhead removal strips don`t work on their skin, and just like me, they need to find other ways to remove them. For today`s post I started to prepare a very long time ago, because I wanted to tried all the recipes and different products, which claim to help with this problem. And I hope these homemade remedies and facial products will work for you as well.

Lime & Salt

The first recipe I`m going to share with you is one of the most effective and personally my favourite way to remove blackheads. It is a natural gentle scrub, which is very easy to do and anyone can find necessary ingredients at home. All you need for this is fine salt and lemon or lime. But first make sure you don`t have any irritations or opened wound (acne & pimples) on your skin. Take a small lemon piece and dip it in the fine salt, then very softly rub the place where your blackheads are situated. Just after the first procedure you`ll see an improvements of your skin - most of the blackheads will vanish! This mask also has a whitening effect and lemon acid will prevent re-occurrence of the new blackheads.

If you have an allergy or irritation on your face, you can substitute lemon and salt with baking soda and your favourite face wash product.

Gelatin & Milk

Everyone knows famous drugstore blackheads removal strips and almost everyone tried them. This method is not only less expensive, but also works even better than the strips. So you``ll need to mix gelatin with milk and to put it in the microwave, until the gelatin will melt. Wait your mixture to chill, and put a thin layer on your problematic areas ( like T-zone, chin). When it will  dry, usually it takes 15 - 20 minutes, carefully remove it from your face. You will love the results ;)

Toothpaste & Toothbrush

If first two recipes I know for a long time and was using them frequently, toothpaste was a very big surprise for me. I`ve learned about it`s effects recently. There are lots of pros and cons of using these methods, so I don`t recommend it for those who has an extremely sensitive or irritated skin.  Buy a separated soft toothbrush for this and use any toothpaste you want. You`ll need to apply just a very small amount of the paste on the brush and gently rub problematic areas. Make sure to don`t apply it too close to your eyes to don`t irritate them.

Celebrity Skin Clarifying Skin Polish
And now I want to share with you some of my favourite beauty products, which help me to fight against blackheads on my face. These products I found the most effective and the most gentle for my skin.
Celebrity Skin Clarifying Skin Polish is a natural product, which combines 2 amazing properties - it is gently exfoliate dead skin cells, deeply cleans face pores and at the same time moisturizes the skin. This product is perfect for very sensitive skin, because it works very gently and doesn`t dry it at all. But the most amazing thing about Celebrity Skin Polish is it`s natural compound - apricot, avocado and coconut oils and crushed walnuts. All ingredients are organic, so they are very useful for our skin.

Garnier Pure Cleanser 3 in 1 face wash review skin care routine blackheads removal getting rid of blackheads whiteheads home scrubs against blackheads

Garnier Pure Cleanser 3 in 1 is my next favourite face wash against blackheads. This products could be used n three different ways - as a facial mask it absorbs an extra skin oil and leaves your skin matte, as a face wash it removes dirt and refreshes the skin, and finally as a scrub it perfectly removes blackheads. Garnier Pure Cleanser could be a bit rough for those who has a sensitive skin, but it works great for me. By the way, the consistency of this product is very similar to a toothpaste, what an interesting coincidence ;)

As you can see from the picture I use a facial massage brush to help the products to do their job. This particular brush is by german brand Ebelin, but you can find similar brushes in any drugstore or online beauty sites, like this Soft Cleaning Face Brush on BPS or this Skin Care Exfoliating Facial Brush, which I also use.

And the last, but absolutely not least product in my list is Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Active Oil Control. This product I like very much because it has a special rubber brush on the top of it`s tube. This brush was designed specially for removing of blackheads and whiteheads. The formula of the Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Active contains salicylic acid, which not only helps to fight against blackheads, but also prevents their re-occurrence.

What a huge post it was! Thanks everyone for reading it, I hope these products and masks will help you to reach a perfect smooth skin without any sign of blackheads. Please don`t forget to moisturize you face skin after every exfoliating procedure to keep it soft and healthy. I`ll talk to you very soon again, bye :*

Lots of love,
Liza
