Many people suffer from dark circles, hyperpigmentation, spots and the fastest way to get rid of these little flaws is to cover them up with a good concealer. No one denies the need for a healthy lifestyle, but sometimes even a balanced diet and a long sleep cannot hide those pesky dark circles. Today I want to talk about the Re-Touch Light-Reflecting Concealer by an affordable drugstore makeup brand Catrice.

Catrice Re-Touch Light-Reflecting Concealer comes in a pen shape packaging with a built-in synthetic brush and a twistable end — to get the concealer on the brush you need to rotate the tube. I find this packaging comfortable and what is even more important hygienic, you can always wash and disinfect the brush before usage.

This concealer is available in three different shades: 005 light nude, 010 ivory, and 010 light beige. All of the shades have slightly yellowish undertones to camouflage the blue and purple hues in your skin after a sleepless night. However, it is best to try and swatch them before actually buying, as they may look too light on the skin and don't suit the complexion.

But the most important is the formula of the Catrice Re-Touch Light-Reflecting Concealer, it is sticky rather than creamy, but after the concealer sets and absorbs into the skin, it becomes smooth and silky. Concealer provides a light to medium coverage and does not crease under the eyes.

Catrice claims that formula has special light-reflecting pigments for radiant eyes and fresh appearance, but to be honest, I haven't noticed any 'light reflection' and the finish looks pretty matte to me. It feels very lightweight on the skin and gives a very natural look. I like to use a little bit of translucent powder over the concealer to make it last longer.

Overall, I liked using the  Light-Reflecting Concealer by Catrice. But, those of you, who need serious coverage won't like this concealer because of its light formula. If you need to slightly freshen up your makeup look this product will do the job. The drugstore price of the concealer makes it worth a try, especially if you are a fan of a more natural makeup look. And what is your favorite concealer at the moment?

Lots of love,
Liz
